    Install the app, click "Generate llms.txt" in the dashboard, and wait ~5 seconds for the "Last synced" timestamp to appear.

    Tip: In the Dashboard, find the "Finish setting up" panel and click Generate llms.txt. The first sync indexes your products, collections, blog posts, and pages.

    Verify your llms.txt is live

    Open an incognito window and visit your-store.myshopify.com/llms.txt to see a clean Markdown index of your catalog.

    Tip: You'll see a structured Markdown file listing every product, collection, blog post, and page that AI assistants can crawl. This is what ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity will read when they index your store.

    Track AI-attributed sessions

    Open your store with ?utm_source=chatgpt and complete a test purchase. Within ~60 seconds, the "AI sessions" metric updates with the source and revenue.

    Tip: Browse a product, complete checkout via Shopify's Bogus Gateway, and check Recent Activity in the dashboard. You'll see the ChatGPT-attributed session, the page path, and the order total — proving attribution end-to-end.

    Control which AI bots can read

    In Settings → AI Bot Access, toggle ClaudeBot, GPTBot, PerplexityBot, GeminiBot and others on or off — independently.

    Tip: Disable a bot and that crawler's requests to /llms.txt return 403 Forbidden. Re-enable and they're back to 200 OK. No theme edits, no robots.txt wrangling.

    Filter what AI sees

    ~15 sec

    In Settings → Content Filters, choose which content types appear in your llms.txt. Disable Products, save, click Sync now — and that section is removed.

    Tip: Want AI to surface your blog and pages but not products? One toggle per content type. Re-enable to instantly restore.

    Uninstall any time, no leftovers

    Instant

    Uninstalling removes the /llms.txt redirect automatically. The URL returns 404 within a few minutes. Zero theme cleanup.

    Tip: Shopify's shop/redact webhook fires after 48 hours and we delete every record tied to your store — no orphan data.
