Do I need to install anything to get a score?
No. The checker reads only public signals - your homepage, robots.txt, sitemap and structured data. Deeper checks that need store access live inside the app.
Will installing get me into ChatGPT?
It makes you findable and fixes what's blocking AI crawlers. No tool can guarantee a citation - anyone who promises that is guessing. Kedra AI Index fixes the blockers and shows you when AI does start sending traffic.
Does blocking GPTBot hide me from ChatGPT?
Not necessarily - GPTBot is OpenAI's training crawler. ChatGPT Search uses OAI-SearchBot and the in-chat browser uses ChatGPT-User. The checker tells these apart so you don't accidentally block the ones that affect visibility.
