Analytics Errors

If the analytics page is not loading data or showing errors, this page covers common causes and solutions.

”Analytics API error: 500”

This error means the analytics backend returned a server error. This is typically a temporary issue.

What to Do

  1. Wait a few minutes and refresh — Server errors are usually resolved quickly.
  2. Try a different time period — Select a different range (e.g., “Last 7 days” instead of “Last 30 days”) to see if data loads.
  3. Check other tabs — If one tab (e.g., Visitor Analytics) fails but another (e.g., Fraud Orders) works, the issue may be isolated to a specific data source.

If the error persists, contact support at info@kedra.io with your store URL.

Empty Analytics Dashboard

If the analytics page loads but shows no data:

You Recently Installed the App

Visitor data takes a few minutes to start appearing after the app embed is enabled. Allow some time for the first visitors to be logged.

App Embed Is Not Active

If the theme app embed is not enabled, no visitor data will be collected. Check your dashboard for the activation status badge and enable the app embed if needed. See App Not Loading.

Free Plan Limit Reached

On the Free plan, visitor analytics are limited to 300 entries. Once the limit is reached, new visitors are no longer logged. A banner appears:

“Visitor tracking limit reached.”

Upgrade to a Pro plan for unlimited visitor tracking.

Data Appears Delayed

Visitor statistics may not appear immediately after a visit. Allow a few minutes for the latest data to be reflected. This is normal and applies to all plans.
