App Admin Interface

The Kedra Checkout Rules admin interface (where you create and manage rules) is available in English only.

Customer-Facing Checkout

The app does not control the checkout language. Your checkout language is determined by your Shopify store’s language settings and the customer’s browser preferences.

The app’s checkout actions (hiding, renaming, reordering methods, showing validation errors) work in any language:

  • Renamed methods display in whatever language you type in the “Rename to” field — you control the text.
  • Validation error messages display in whatever language you type in the “Error message” field.
  • Method names used for matching (in hide, rename, and reorder rules) must match the language Shopify uses at checkout for that customer.

Note on multi-language stores: If your store supports multiple languages, payment and shipping method names may appear differently for each language. Make sure your rules match the method names in the language your customers see. You may need separate rules for different languages, using the User language condition to target each one.

When creating checkout links, you can set a Locale to control which language the checkout displays in. Only languages that are published on your store are available. See Checkout Links.
