What Is Kedra Checkout Rules?

Kedra Checkout Rules is a Shopify app that gives you full control over what customers see and do during checkout. You can hide, rename, or reorder payment and shipping methods, create shipping discounts, and validate orders — all based on conditions you define.

What Can You Do With It?

Hide Payment & Shipping Methods

Remove specific payment or shipping options from checkout based on conditions like cart total, customer location, products in cart, or customer tags.

Example: Hide “Cash on Delivery” for international orders, or hide “Local Pickup” for customers outside your city.

Rename Payment & Shipping Methods

Change how payment and shipping method names appear to customers at checkout.

Example: Rename “Economy Shipping” to “Standard Delivery (5-7 business days)” so customers know exactly what to expect.

Reorder Payment & Shipping Methods

Control the order in which payment and shipping options appear. Sort alphabetically, by shipping price, or set a custom ranking.

Example: Show your preferred local payment method (like MB WAY or iDEAL) at the top of the list.

Shipping Discounts

Offer discounted or free shipping based on conditions. Supports percentage off, fixed amount off, fixed price, and free shipping.

How Does It Work?

1. You create rules in the Kedra Checkout app inside your Shopify admin.
2. You set conditions (optional) — like “cart total is greater than $50” or “customer country equals US.”
3. At checkout, the app automatically evaluates your rules and applies the matching actions — hiding methods, renaming them, applying discounts, or showing validation errors.

Rules run entirely within Shopify’s native checkout system, so they are fast, reliable, and have no impact on your store’s speed or performance.
